There are four Flyer EVO configurations. The right one depends on your experience and your weight.

• EVO Lite: 90 L board, 4000 W, up to 36 km/h, around 100 minutes of ride time, for riders up to roughly 90 kg. The most accessible way into the EVO system.
• EVO Max Plus: 130 L board, 6000 W, up to 45 km/h, around 120 minutes, for riders up to roughly 130 kg. The largest and most stable board, and the easiest to learn on.
• EVO Pro Plus: 90 L board, 6000 W, up to 52 km/h, around 120 minutes, for riders up to roughly 130 kg. Works from your first session through to advanced riding.
• EVO Master: 75 L Kevlar and carbon board, 6000 W, up to 52 km/h, around 120 minutes, for riders up to roughly 100 kg. Built for advanced riders who want the most direct handling.

Speed and ride time vary with rider weight, water conditions and riding style. If you are unsure, tell us your weight and experience and we will point you to the right one.

They solve different problems.

FoilBoost is a foil-assist unit. It mounts under a foilboard you already own and gives you the power to get up on foil and extend your session. It is 5.6 kg, delivers 33 kg of thrust, and runs a 432 Wh battery.

The Flyer EVO is a complete electric hydrofoil: board, mast, wings, propulsion and battery as one system, ridden with a wireless remote.

Choose FoilBoost if you already foil and want assist power. Choose a Flyer EVO if you want a complete eFoil setup.

Both verified models are rated IP68 to 60 m and use the same three gears (Low, High and Super Gear).

• Subnado Lite: 500 W, 6.5 kg thrust, 1.4 m/s with one unit and over 2.0 m/s with two. Up to 56 minutes, with a 50-second Super Gear burst. 98 Wh battery, 377 x 60 mm, 1.4 kg. The compact, travel-minded option.
• Subnado Plus: 800 W, 9.3 kg thrust, 1.7 m/s with one unit and 2.4 m/s with two. Up to 60 minutes, with a 150-second Super Gear burst. 144 Wh battery, 397 x 60 mm, 1.8 kg. The higher-power option for scuba, freediving and SUP propulsion.

Both charge over USB-C in about 1.2 hours. If you fly often, note the battery difference and see our question on taking a Subnado on a plane.

Same main unit, same wired thumb controller, same charger and same spares. The difference is how you hold it.

• The Standard package includes the handle and arm mount for handheld use.
• The SUP Kit leaves out the handle and arm mount, and gives you board-mounting hardware instead: a quick-release clamp and adhesive mounting stickers that fix the unit to a paddleboard or surfboard.

Neither package includes a wireless remote. Both are operated with the wired thumb controller.

Yes. The Epix E-Foil Set includes both the 115 L board and the 85 L board, so you can match the setup to your skill level.

The larger 115 L board is the one to start on, because more volume means more stability and buoyancy. The 85 L board is more manoeuvrable and more responsive, which suits experienced riders.

Swapping between them is straightforward: partially deflate the fitted board, remove it from the hardboard core, fit the other size and inflate it again with the included pump.

Yes. The Lite is one of the more accessible entry points into eFoiling, with a stable 90 L board, a large front wing and smooth power delivery, which together make lift-off and control easier to learn.

Pairing it with the EVO Pod adds buoyancy and stability in the water, which makes takeoff and early balance more forgiving still.

One thing to know: the Lite does not have Flight Assist. If you want that support while learning, look at the Max Plus or Pro Plus instead.

No. It is the easiest EVO to learn on, but it reaches 45 km/h (28 mph), which leaves plenty of room for carving and cruising.

Experienced riders can turn Flight Assist off and use the higher gear settings for a more manual, more demanding ride.

Heavier riders are usually pointed to the Max Plus whatever their skill level, simply because the 130 L board carries more volume. It is also the configuration compatible with the Scooter Kit, which adds handlebars and an inflatable pod.

Yes, three that are specific to it:

• The Scooter Kit, which adds handlebars and an inflatable pod for extra buoyancy and stability. It makes the learning stage more controlled.
• The Mover (L), a dedicated transport trolley sized for the larger board, for getting the full setup to and from the water.
• The 130 L board bag, sized to match the Max Plus board for transport and storage.

More volume and more surface area mean the board sits more stably in the water before you are up on foil.

That extra stability makes it easier to balance, reduces the chance of tipping, and gives you more time to react during takeoff and at low speed. The result is a more forgiving learning curve, which is why the 130 L Max Plus is the configuration we point most beginners towards.

Top speed depends on the configuration:

• EVO Lite: up to 36 km/h (22.4 mph)
• EVO Max Plus: up to 45 km/h (28 mph)
• EVO Pro Plus: up to 52 km/h (32 mph)
• EVO Master: up to 52 km/h (32 mph)

Actual speed varies with rider weight, water conditions and your setup.

The EVO Max Plus, Pro Plus and Master are rated up to 120 minutes on the 2300 Wh pack. The EVO Lite is rated up to 100 minutes.

In practice, expect 45 to 90 minutes or more depending on your weight, how hard you ride, water conditions and which gear you use. Riding at full throttle in chop will always draw more than cruising.

These are the ideal rider weights for each configuration:

• EVO Lite: up to about 90 kg (198 lbs)
• EVO Max Plus: up to about 130 kg (286 lbs)
• EVO Pro Plus: up to about 130 kg (286 lbs)
• EVO Master: up to about 100 kg (220 lbs)

Heavier riders are generally steered towards the Max Plus regardless of experience level, because the 130 L board carries more volume and lifts more easily.

The Subnado Lite and the Subnado Plus are both rated IP68 to a depth of 60 metres.

Keeping that seal intact depends on maintenance. Apply a small amount of grease to the green O-rings on the cable connector regularly, and avoid taking the unit apart after every session. That wears the O-ring faster than anything else.

Subnado Lite: 1.4 m/s with a single unit, over 2.0 m/s running two. Up to 56 minutes, with a 50-second Super Gear burst.

Subnado Plus: 1.7 m/s with a single unit, 2.4 m/s running two. Up to 60 minutes, with a 150-second Super Gear burst.

Both have three gears: Low, High and Super Gear. Run time depends on which gear you use, how deep you are and how much you are carrying.

The Master is the performance-focused configuration in the EVO line. It runs a 75 L board built with Kevlar and carbon fibre, a one-piece moulded carbon mast and a CNC fuselage, which makes it lighter and more responsive than the other boards.

That translates into sharper handling and more direct control at speed. It reaches 52 km/h (32 mph) and uses a 31 inch mast. It suits advanced riders who already have solid foil control and want precision, rather than riders still learning.

The Waydoo app is free on both platforms. Search for "Waydoo", or use these links: Waydoo app on the App Store or Waydoo app on Google Play.

The app is used for GPS ride data, firmware updates and registering your Subnado for extended warranty.

No. The Subnado is operated with a wired thumb controller, which is included in both the Standard package and the SUP Kit. A wireless remote is a Flyer EVO feature. The Subnado does not use one.

Flight Assist uses sensors and gyroscope inputs to help stabilise lift and assist throttle control while you are flying. It shortens the learning curve considerably.

It is fitted to the EVO Max Plus, EVO Pro Plus and EVO Master. The EVO Lite does not have it.

It can be toggled on or off. Beginners usually leave it on while learning; more experienced riders switch it off for full manual control and a more engaged ride.

Around 10 to 15 minutes once you are familiar with it. The EVO is designed for modular assembly and every tool you need is included in the set, so there is nothing extra to buy.

Your first few assemblies will take longer. The assembly video below walks through the whole sequence.

Yes. Every EVO configuration is modular within the same system. You can swap or upgrade wings, masts, propulsion units and batteries, and you can mix components from other EVO models to tune the ride to your style.

This means you can start on a setup that suits you now and change it as you progress, rather than replacing the whole eFoil.

Yes. The Epix E-Foil works with the EVO line masts, wings, propulsion units and chargers, so you can adapt or upgrade the setup as your riding develops.

Yes, but it takes effort. The adhesive mounting base is a strong bond, rated to hold against 50 kg of force, so removing and reapplying it is not a quick peel-and-stick job.

The good news is that the box includes several mounting stickers. If you use the Subnado across a few different boards, you can fit one sticker per board rather than buying an extra mounting kit.

Every current manual is linked below. If you are not sure which Subnado you have, check the length. The Lite is 377 mm and the Plus is 397 mm.

Both are straightforward jobs with an official video for each.

If the mast itself is structurally damaged rather than just needing a new head, do not work on it. File a claim instead.

Ride and track data comes off the board through the Waydoo app. The videos below cover getting your track data, uploading the MAST log, and the HF22 log procedure.

If you are working through a fault with us, pulling the logs and attaching them to your claim is one of the most useful things you can do. It often tells our team what happened without any back-and-forth.

The Mover is the transport trolley for moving your setup to and from the water. The assembly video below runs through it end to end.

The Mover is sold separately from the eFoil. The EVO Max Plus uses the larger Mover (L).

If you are setting up for the first time, start with How to use the Subnado, then fit the finger safe-guard before anything else.

The video below covers the remote's function setup, including calibrating the throttle trigger.

Trigger calibration is also the fix if you see an angle overflow message. That appears either because of magnetic interference, in which case restart the remote, or because the throttle travel no longer matches, in which case recalibrate.

The Flyer ONE and ONE Plus are earlier generations and are no longer sold as complete units, but the manuals are still available and we still support owners. They are linked below.

For a fault or a spare part, file a claim as normal and tell us which model you have.

If you are unsure whether the Jet Drive fits your setup, check with us before fitting rather than after.

It depends which model you have, and you should always confirm with your airline before you travel.

• Subnado Lite: 98 Wh, which sits under the 100 Wh threshold most airlines apply to lithium batteries in carry-on baggage.
• Subnado Plus: 144 Wh, which is above 100 Wh. Batteries between 101 and 160 Wh normally require prior approval from the airline.

Rules differ between carriers and routes, so check with your airline in advance. We can supply the UN38.3 test report and MSDS documentation if they ask for it.

About 1.2 hours for a full charge on both the Lite and the Plus, over USB-C.

The Lite charges at up to 100 W (PD3.0) and can also work as a power bank. The Plus supports 140 W bi-directional fast charging (PD3.1).

Topping up with a lower-power charger is fine, particularly when the unit is already showing five or six bars.

Stop here first: if the battery is swollen, hot, wet, leaking or physically damaged, do not charge it and do not test it. Go straight to a warranty claim.

Otherwise there are three safe checks worth doing:

1. Fit the battery to the board, power on, and confirm the board runs when you pull the remote trigger. That tells us whether the pack is holding charge at all.
2. Check that the two screws on both the charger plug and the battery terminals are not loose.
3. Wipe the infrared sensors on the battery and the charger with alcohol. They communicate optically, and a smear is enough to interrupt it.

If it still will not charge, file a claim and attach a 30-second video showing the charger indicator, the battery screen and the button on the DC cable in the same frame. That one video usually tells our team what is wrong.

Stop using it and stop charging it immediately. This applies if the battery is swollen, unusually hot, smoking, leaking, has got wet, or has been dropped or physically damaged.

Move it away from anything flammable and leave it alone. Do not try to test it, discharge it or charge it to see what happens.

Then file a claim and tell us what happened. Mark it as urgent, because our team treats battery damage as a priority case.

Two safe checks:

1. Try a different charger and cable. If it takes charge, the original charger is the problem.
2. Look into the charging port for corrosion or burn marks.

If it charges but stops before full, unplug and replug into a different charger a few times and see whether it resumes. Topping up on a lower-power charger is fine when it is already at five or six bars.

If neither helps, file a claim and describe what you saw.

This is usually a seating or gasket issue rather than a fault. Pick the clip that matches what you are stuck on:

• Installing the battery compartment plate
• Installing the battery itself
• Taking off the rubber plug
• Removing the rubber gasket

If anything looks damaged or is missing while you are in there, stop and file a claim so we can send the replacement part.

Isolate which part is at fault before anything else:

1. Try a different charging cable, or charge a different remote with the same cable.
2. Look into the charging port for corrosion or damage.

If the remote still will not power on normally, file a claim rather than opening it.

Yes. Our products contain lithium batteries, and carriers, customs officials and airlines sometimes ask for the paperwork. Both documents are below.

The UN38.3 test report covers transport testing; the MSDS covers material safety.

First confirm both the remote and the board are charged and the firmware is current. Then:

1. Restart both the remote and the EVO.
2. On the remote, long-press Power and Minus together. This drops the old connection and starts a fresh Bluetooth search.
3. Once the remote picks up the mast signal, pull the trigger to pair.

If the remote cannot find the mast signal at all, file a claim. Record a pairing video in a quiet room with the startup sound audible and attach it, so our team can hear what is happening.

Nothing is wrong. The R means the remote is in reverse gear.

To toggle it: with the remote locked and the lock icon showing, hold Minus and Plus together for three seconds to enter reverse. Repeat the same action to come back out of it.

Only if you have a software problem to solve. We do not recommend updating firmware on a board that is working normally.

If you do need to update, use the Waydoo app and follow the video for your model. During the update the EVO mast broadcasts its own WiFi hotspot, which your phone connects to before the app takes over. Let the mast finish beeping completely before touching anything. If the progress bar stalls, restart the board and the app.

Run the grease and installation check before you use it and before you charge it. It takes a couple of minutes and it is the single most effective thing you can do to keep water out of the unit.

The seal is what matters. Apply a small amount of grease to the green O-rings on the cable connector regularly, ideally before each use. A thin layer on the contact points between the controller plug and the main unit also helps the seal.

Two things to avoid:

• Do not over-apply. Too much grease stops the cable seating properly, which causes the problem it is meant to prevent.
• Do not take it apart after every session. Repeated disassembly wears the O-ring.

Some noise can occur if the propeller is sitting close to the rear cover, and that on its own is not a fault.

If the sound is clearly abnormal, or you can see a bent or broken motor shaft, stop using it and file a claim. Include a video with the sound audible and a clear photo of the propeller area.

Two safe things to try:

1. Inspect the connection between the mast and the propulsion unit for water ingress or rust.
2. Recalibrate the throttle using the video below.

If it still will not drive, file a claim. Record a booting video in a quiet environment with the propulsion unit's startup sound audible and attach it. That recording is what our team listens to first.

Press the controller down while you secure the waterproof cover in place. It needs that pressure to seat fully.

Then check the controller port and connector. Excess grease is the usual culprit: wipe it back with a soft tissue and try again. A thin layer helps the seal, but too much stops the connector seating.

If it still will not connect, try a different controller to see whether the fault follows the controller or stays with the unit, and check the metal pins for corrosion. If the part is defective, file a claim.

Some messages are normal operating states rather than faults:

• Charging paused, waiting for cooling. Expected if you started charging straight after a ride. It resumes once the pack cools.
• ESC overheating. Normal after continuous hard running. Ease off the speed and carry on. If it appears immediately at startup, that is worth reporting.
• GPS No Data. Wait for the signal to recover.
• Low battery warnings. Get ashore and charge.

For anything else, take a clear photo of the message and file a claim with it. Most codes are diagnostic and our team reads them alongside your battery or mast logs.

Any message about battery temperature, water in the battery, or a battery fault should be treated as urgent. Stop using the board and do not charge it.

Check which model you have first. The Standard and the Plus use different upgrade tools, linked below.

The process: install the upgrade tool (on Windows, install the driver as well), power the Subnado on, connect it to your computer with the USB-C cable, then update the main control and ESC firmware to the latest version.

If the update fails, try a different cable or a different computer, and restart both the Subnado and the tool a few times. If it still will not complete, file a claim. A persistent failure usually points to hardware rather than software.

Check the charging port for corrosion or burn marks, and confirm the unit is actually holding charge by trying a different charger.

That is as far as we would ask you to go. If it still will not power on, file a claim. Do not open the unit, because breaking the seal will cause more problems than it solves.

Both jobs have an official video. The trigger replacement involves removing the silicone glove, unscrewing the bolts and fitting the new trigger.

Before replacing anything, confirm the controller is actually the problem. Connect a different controller to the unit and check the metal pins on both for corrosion. If the part is defective rather than worn, file a claim and we will sort the replacement.

Orders are usually processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment is confirmed. We do not process orders on weekends or public holidays.

Processing can take longer during product launches, holidays, high-volume periods and inventory restocking.

We may also delay or cancel an order if the payment or the shipping details need extra confirmation. If that happens we will contact you.

We ship across the European Union and the United Kingdom, to the United States, and to selected international destinations.

Availability varies by product, because carrier coverage and shipping restrictions differ. Products containing lithium batteries are restricted in some countries, and we may need to change the shipping method or cancel an order to stay compliant.

The quickest way to check is at checkout. If your country is not selectable there, get in touch and we will tell you where we stand rather than guess.

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days of payment confirmation. We do not process on weekends or public holidays, and processing can take longer around launches, holidays and restocking.

Estimated delivery once shipped:

• Europe: 3 to 10 business days
• United States: 5 to 12 business days
• Rest of the world: 7 to 21 business days

These are estimates rather than guarantees. Carrier, customs and weather delays are outside our control. Your tracking number is emailed when the order ships, and tracking can take 24 to 72 hours to start updating.

You will have received a tracking number by email when the order shipped. Tracking can take 24 to 72 hours to start showing scans, so a quiet tracking page in the first day or two is normal.

If the tracking has not moved, contact the carrier first. They hold the parcel and can often resolve it directly. If that does not get you anywhere, email us with your order number and we will chase it.

For a delivery problem, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date.

For orders shipped outside the EU, import duties, customs fees and local taxes such as VAT may apply. These are set by the destination country's customs authority, not by us, and they are the customer's responsibility. We cannot predict the amount in advance.

Please pay them promptly when customs asks. Unpaid charges can hold a shipment, send it back, or in some countries lead to it being destroyed.

If a shipment is refused or cannot be delivered, the return shipping, customs and carrier charges are deducted from any refund.

Our products contain lithium batteries, and some countries restrict how they can be shipped. We may need to change the shipping method, or occasionally cancel an order, to stay compliant. If that affects your order we will contact you first.

Cover runs from the date you receive the product, and the length depends on the part rather than the whole product.

The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use, following the official instructions. Impact damage, unauthorised modification or disassembly, improper installation, use in unsuitable conditions, third-party parts and altered serial numbers are not covered. Registering a Subnado on the Waydoo app adds three months to its cover.

No. You can use it straight out of the box, with no registration required.

Registering it on the Waydoo app adds three months of extended warranty. That is the only reason to do it, and it is entirely optional.

You have 30 days from receipt to request a return.

To be accepted, the item needs to be unused, in its original packaging, with all accessories, manuals and components, plus proof of purchase. Used, damaged or incomplete returns may receive a partial refund or be refused.

Anything that has been used in water is not returnable unless it is defective. The same applies to misuse damage, items missing essential parts, and final-sale items. None of this affects your statutory warranty rights.

Yes. If you are in the European Union you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery, without giving a reason.

Notify us within 14 days of delivery, then return the product within 14 days of notifying us. It needs to be unused and in resellable condition.

This sits alongside our 30-day return window rather than replacing it, and it does not affect your statutory warranty rights.

Return shipping is at your cost in most cases.

Where the item arrived damaged, is defective, or we sent the wrong product, we cover it. We will either provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable shipping costs.

For international returns you pay the return shipping and any customs charges, and refunds exclude import duties and taxes, unless the cause was our error or a defect.

Email info@waydoo.tech with the subject Return Request - Order #, including your order number, the items you want to return and the reason. We will reply with the return address, so please wait for it rather than sending the parcel anywhere.

Use a tracked service. We cannot confirm a refund on a parcel we cannot prove arrived.

There is no direct swap for exchanges. An exchange is handled as a return plus a new order.

Once your return reaches us, inspection takes 3 to 5 business days. We will then let you know whether the refund is approved.

Approved refunds take a further 5 to 10 business days to process, depending on your payment provider, and go back to the original payment method.

Shipping costs paid at checkout are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Send your order number, photos of both the product and the packaging, and a description of the problem.

Photograph the packaging before you dispose of it, because transit damage claims depend on it.

Where an item arrived damaged, is defective, or is the wrong product, we cover the return shipping.

File it through our claim page. Submit the form even if you are not sure whether the issue is covered. Filling it in properly is what speeds the process up, and our team will assess coverage from there.

Check your spam folder if you do not hear back.

Attaching the right evidence makes a real difference. Depending on the fault, useful items are: a pairing video recorded in a quiet room with the startup sound audible, a 30-second charging video showing the charger indicator, battery screen and DC-cable button in one frame, a clear photo of any error code, and the ride or mast logs pulled from the Waydoo app.
