Troubleshooting Guide

1. Board Will Not Power On

Possible Causes

• Battery not charged
• Battery not properly connected
• Power button pressed incorrectly
• Safety system preventing startup

Solutions
  1. Ensure the battery is fully charged.
  2. Check that the battery is properly inserted and locked.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 2–3 seconds.
  4. Verify that the battery indicator lights turn on.
  5. Inspect battery connectors for dirt or water.

If the board still does not start, contact support.

2. Battery Not Charging

Possible Causes

• Loose charger connection
• Charger cable damage
• Charger outlet issue
• Battery temperature outside safe range

Solutions
  1. Check charger is firmly connected to the battery.
  2. Verify the power outlet is working.
  3. Inspect the charger cable for damage.
  4. Charge in a dry area between 10°C – 35°C.
  5. Check LED indicators on the charger.

If charging fails after multiple attempts, stop using the battery and contact support.

3. Remote Control Not Connecting

Possible Causes

• Remote battery low
• Remote not paired
• Interference from nearby devices

Solutions
  1. Recharge the remote control.
  2. Turn off the board and remote.
  3. Turn on the board first.
  4. Turn on the remote within 10 seconds.
  5. Keep remote within 1 meter during pairing.

If the remote still fails to connect, perform a full restart and retry.

4. Board Stops During Use

Possible Causes

• Low battery
• Motor overheating
• Safety protection activated

Solutions
  1. Check battery level before riding.
  2. Allow motor to cool for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Avoid continuous maximum throttle usage.
  4. Inspect propeller and motor for debris.

5. Reduced Performance

Possible Causes

• Low battery level
• Dirty or damaged propeller
• Incorrect riding mode

Solutions
  1. Fully charge the battery.
  2. Inspect and clean the propeller.
  3. Check riding mode settings in the Waydoo app.
  4. Verify that the mast and propulsion unit are securely installed.

6. Water Leakage or Moisture

Immediate Actions
  1. Power off the board immediately.
  2. Remove the battery.
  3. Dry all components thoroughly.
  4. Inspect seals and connectors.

Do not use the board until fully dry.

7. Unusual Noise from Motor

Possible Causes

• Debris in propeller
• Loose propulsion unit
• Propeller damage

Solutions
  1. Turn off the board immediately.
  2. Inspect the propeller for sand, rope, or debris.
  3. Tighten propulsion unit screws.
  4. Replace propeller if damaged.

8. App Connection Issues

Solutions
  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
  2. Update the Waydoo app to the latest version.
  3. Restart your smartphone.
  4. Restart the board.
  5. Move closer to the board.
