Frequently asked questions

What is the UniRide One Core Power System?

The UniRide Core is the rigid central power module shared by all five board setups. Together with the PowerFlight Battery 15 and the Smart Remote it powers the eSUP, Explore eSUP, eSurfboard, eFoil and eKayak.

You keep one power system and switch to the board that fits the way you want to ride. The eFoil uses its own eFoil float and eFoil Module, so the foil does not attach to the eSUP float.

Which UniRide setups can I buy?

Two complete sets. The eSUP Bundle includes the UniRide Core, eSUP float, Foldable Propulsion Module, PowerFlight Battery 15, Smart Remote, PowerFlight Charger, fins, leash, carbon paddle and hand pump.

The All-in-One Pack adds four more floats (Explore eSUP, eSurfboard, eKayak and eFoil) and the eFoil Module, for all five ways to ride. Extra floats, the UniRide Core (EPP) and the UniRide Bag are available as add-ons.

How fast is UniRide, and how long does the battery last?

It depends on the setup. Top speed: eFoil 35 km/h, eSUP 20 km/h, eKayak 18 km/h, eSurfboard 18 km/h, Explore eSUP 16 km/h.

Runtime: up to 5 hours on the eSUP and eKayak, up to 4 hours on the Explore eSUP, up to 2 hours on the eSurfboard and up to 1 hour 20 minutes on the eFoil.

Tested with one 75 kg rider, speed in calm water over 30 seconds. Rider weight, throttle, wind, current and water conditions change real results. The 1.5 kWh PowerFlight Battery 15 releases quickly, so you can swap in a charged battery to stay out longer.

How many riders and how much weight can each UniRide setup carry?

Explore eSUP: 2 riders, 270 kg. eSUP: 2 riders, 180 kg. eKayak: 1 rider, 150 kg. eSurfboard: 1 rider, 100 kg. eFoil: 1 rider, 90 kg.

Are the UniRide boards inflatable?

Yes. The floats are high-pressure inflatables. They are rigid when inflated and pack down small for transport.

The UniRide Core and the propulsion hardware are solid and do not inflate. The Core does not inflate the boards; a hand pump comes with both sets.

How does the UniRide retractable propulsion work?

The Foldable Propulsion Module retracts into the board when not in use. Folded, it leaves a flush bottom, which suits shallow water, weeds and beach landings better than a fixed unit under the board.

The eFoil uses a separate eFoil Module and mast, so its setup and operating requirements differ.
