If you are shopping for an eFoil in Europe, the shortlist usually comes down to two established names at very different price points: Waydoo and Fliteboard. Both are mature platforms with years of production behind them, so this is not a case of a safe choice and a risky one. It is a case of what you pay, what you get for it, and which trade-offs match how you plan to ride. This comparison sticks to published specs and prices, all correct at the time of writing.

The short answer

A complete Waydoo Flyer EVO setup costs between €5,807 and €9,546 at the time of writing, depending on configuration. Complete Fliteboard Series 6 systems run from roughly €6,495 for the inflatable AIR to about €13,999 for the RACE, with the mainstream ICON and PRO builds starting around €9,750 in dealer-published EU pricing. In practice that means a mid-range EVO costs less than an entry ICON, and the EVO Master flagship sits below most Fliteboard hard-board builds. What Fliteboard offers for the premium is a wider model range and a long list of design refinements; what Waydoo offers is a modular platform with flight assistance at a price that leaves room in the budget for a spare battery and a trailer of accessories.

Waydoo prices are our own store prices. Fliteboard prices come from dealer-published 2026 EU price guides, since Fliteboard sells through a configurator rather than flat price lists; treat them as starting points that move with options.

Performance and ride time

The Flyer EVO publishes a full spec sheet per configuration: 36 km/h on the Lite, 45 km/h on the Max Plus, and up to 52 km/h on the Pro Plus and Master, with 100 to 120 minutes of ride time per charge across the range. Fliteboard does not publish a single flat spec table for every model; the RACE is stated at 55+ km/h, and ride time depends on which Flitecell battery you configure. Both platforms comfortably cover what a recreational rider actually uses, which is 25 to 35 km/h cruising and an afternoon of flight. What the Flyer EVO gives you

• Flight Assistance System and GPS on every config. The board actively helps stabilise takeoff and flight, which shortens the learning curve, and GPS ride data is built in rather than optional.
• One modular ecosystem. Boards, masts, wings, propulsion units and batteries interchange across the EVO platform, so you upgrade in parts instead of replacing the whole setup. Parts are stocked and sold individually.
• Rider capacity up to about 130 kg on the Max Plus and Pro Plus, which is the deciding spec for heavier riders; our eFoil weight limit guide goes deeper.
• EU stock and local dealers. European warehouse, European warranty handling, no grey-import customs surprises. The real cost of a cheap eFoil explains why that matters more than sticker price.

Where Fliteboard is the right call

An honest segmentation note: if you specifically want an inflatable eFoil for boat storage, the Fliteboard AIR serves a niche Waydoo does not currently build for. And if budget is simply not a constraint and you want the widest catalogue of board shapes and finishes to configure, Fliteboard's range is broader. Neither of those describes most first-time and progressing riders, which is who the Flyer EVO is built and priced for.
