Which Waydoo Flyer EVO should I choose?

The Flyer EVO comes in four configurations. The Lite (90 L board) suits riders progressing on a smaller budget; the Max Plus (130 L) is the most stable and the easiest to learn on, great for families; the Pro Plus (90 L) balances stability and performance for all-round riders; and the Master (75 L Kevlar) is built for advanced riders who want speed and agility. How fast does the Waydoo Flyer EVO go?

Top speed depends on the configuration: the EVO Lite reaches about 36 km/h (22.4 mph), the Max Plus about 45 km/h (28 mph), and the Pro Plus and Master about 52 km/h (32 mph). Actual speed varies with rider weight and water conditions.

How long does the Flyer EVO run on one charge?

Up to 120 minutes on the Max Plus, Pro Plus and Master (2300 Wh battery), and up to about 100 minutes on the Lite. Real-world ride time is typically 45–90+ minutes depending on rider weight, speed and conditions.

What is the rider weight limit for the Flyer EVO?

The ideal maximum rider weight is about 90 kg (198 lbs) for the Lite, 100 kg (220 lbs) for the Master, and 130 kg (286 lbs) for the Max Plus and Pro Plus.

Is the Flyer EVO suitable for beginners?

Yes. The EVO Max Plus has a large 130 L board and a Flight Assistance System that helps you balance, so it's well suited to first-time riders. Every EVO is modular, so you can adapt the setup as your skills progress.

How is the FoilBoost different from a full eFoil?

The FoilBoost is a foil-assist unit that mounts under your existing foilboard to help you get up and stay on foil, while a Flyer eFoil is a complete electric hydrofoil board. The FoilBoost delivers 33 kg of thrust, a 432 Wh battery, about 25 minutes of runtime and a 2.5-hour charge.

How deep can the Waydoo Subnado go?

The Subnado Plus is rated IP68 to a depth of 60 metres. It offers up to 60 minutes of runtime, an 800 W motor and speeds up to 2.4 m/s with dual units — designed for snorkelling, freediving, scuba diving and SUP.

Do I need to register my Subnado?

No — you can use the Subnado straight away. Registering it in the Waydoo app adds 3 months of extended warranty.

Für wen ist das EVO Max?

Das EVO Max ist das einsteigerfreundlichste eFoil im Line-up und ideal für alle ohne Wassersport-Erfahrung. Das größere Board bringt zusätzlichen Auftrieb und verzeiht mehr, dadurch fallen Balance und Takeoff beim ersten Mal deutlich leichter.

Dazu kommt Waydoos Flight Assist System, das über Sensoren und Gyroskop-Daten den Auftrieb stabilisiert und die Gasdosierung im Flug unterstützt. Die Funktion lässt sich komplett ein- und ausschalten, Einsteiger lernen also mit Unterstützung, während erfahrene Rider auf volle manuelle Kontrolle wechseln und direkter unterwegs sind.

Zusammen machen das größere Board und das Flight Assist System das EVO Max zum einfachsten Einstieg ins eFoilen im Waydoo Line-up.

Gibt es spezielle Upgrades für das EVO Max?

Ja. Das EVO Max ist kompatibel mit dem Scooter Kit, das einen Lenker und einen aufblasbaren Pod für mehr Auftrieb und Stabilität enthält, damit Einsteiger kontrollierter lernen.

Außerdem hat das EVO Max ein eigenes Transportsystem, den Mover (L), für einfaches Handling und den Transport des kompletten Setups zum Wasser und zurück. Dazu die größere Board Bag (130L) für bequemen Transport.

Wie erleichtert das größere Board (130L) das Lernen?

Das größere Board des EVO Max bietet mehr Auftrieb und mehr Fläche und liegt dadurch deutlich stabiler im Wasser. Diese zusätzliche Stabilität hilft Einsteigern beim Balancieren, verringert das Kippen und gibt dir beim Takeoff und bei langsamer Fahrt mehr Zeit zu reagieren, der Lernprozess wird dadurch ruhiger und verzeihender.

Macht das EVO Max auch erfahrenen Ridern Spaß?

Ja. Das EVO Max ist zwar als einsteigerfreundlichstes Modell ausgelegt, macht aber auch Fortgeschrittenen viel Spaß. Es erreicht bis zu 45 km/h (28 mph), genug Leistung zum Carven und Cruisen.

Schwereren Ridern wird das EVO Max unabhängig vom Können generell empfohlen, dank des größeren Boards und des höheren Auftriebs.
