Which Waydoo product do I have?
Our products work in genuinely different ways. Using the wrong manual or firmware tool is the most common avoidable mistake, so start here.

Where do I download my Waydoo manual?
Every product has an official manual, and each Subnado version has its own. All manuals, brochures and compliance documents are on our Downloads page. If a link doesn't work, tell us — please don't substitute a manual from a different model.
How do I download the Waydoo app?
The Waydoo app handles firmware updates, ride and GPS data on the Flyer EVO, and Subnado registration.

Do I need to register my Subnado?
No. You do not need to register a Subnado to use it — it works straight out of the box. Registering it in the Waydoo app adds 3 months of extended warranty. That is the only reason to register.
What should I do before my first Subnado session?
There is one step we ask every Subnado owner to complete before first use and before charging: the grease and installation check. It is the single most effective thing you can do to prevent water getting inside the unit.

How do I assemble my Flyer EVO?

Should I update my Waydoo firmware?
Only if you have a specific software problem. We do not recommend updating firmware on a board that is working correctly. If you do need to update:

During an EVO update the mast beeps. Wait until the beeping has completely stopped before touching anything. If the progress bar stalls, restart the board and the app.

What is the difference between the Subnado Standard and the SUP Kit?
Our most frequent pre-purchase question, so to be precise:
- Neither includes a wireless remote. A wireless remote is a Flyer EVO feature. Both the Standard package and the SUP Kit include the wired thumb controller, and both are operated the same way.
- Standard additionally includes the handle and arm mount, for handheld and arm-mounted use.
- SUP Kit replaces those with quick-release board-mounting hardware, so the unit attaches to a paddleboard, surfboard or boogie board.
- Everything else — main unit, wired thumb controller, charging cable and spares — is identical in both.
Can I use the SUP Kit on more than one board? Yes. The adhesive mount can be removed and reapplied to a different board, though it takes real effort because the bond is strong. The box includes multiple stickers, so you do not need to buy an extra mounting kit to use it across several boards. Clean the surface before applying and let it set for about 30 minutes before entering the water.
Can I take a Subnado battery on a plane?
Airlines apply a 100 Wh threshold to lithium batteries in carry-on baggage, and batteries between 101 Wh and 160 Wh require airline approval.
- Subnado Lite — 98 Wh. Below the threshold.
- Subnado Plus — 144 Wh. Above it, so it requires airline approval.
- Flyer EVO Powerflight batteries (1800 Wh and 2300 Wh). Far above passenger carry-on thresholds — contact us before planning air travel with one.

Warning messages that are normal, not faults
- An "R" on the EVO remote screen means reverse gear, not a fault. With the remote locked, hold Minus + Plus together for 3 seconds to toggle it.
- "Charging paused, waiting for cooling" is normal if you begin charging straight after a ride. It resumes once the battery cools.
- ESC overheating is normal after continuous running — the system has thermal protection. Continue at a lower speed. It is only a concern if it appears immediately at startup.
- "GPS No Data" means the signal has not been acquired yet.

How long does delivery take, and what is the returns policy?
- Processing: 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed.
- Estimated delivery after shipment: Europe 3–10 business days · United States 5–12 · rest of world 7–21. These are estimates, not guarantees.
- Tracking is emailed when your order ships and can take 24–72 hours to begin updating.
- Returns: 30 days from receipt, unused and in original packaging. EU customers also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Start by emailing return@waydoo.tech with your order number.
- Damaged on arrival: contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the product and packaging.
