Who is the EVO Max for?

The EVO Max is the most beginner-friendly eFoil in the lineup, ideal for users with no previous watersports experience. Its larger board provides extra buoyancy and forgiveness in the water, making balance and takeoff significantly easier for first-time riders.

It also includes Waydoo’s Flight Assist system, which uses sensors and gyroscope inputs to help stabilize lift and assist throttle control during flight. This feature is fully toggleable on or off, allowing beginners to learn with added support or more experienced riders to switch to full manual control for a more engaged ride.

Combined, the larger platform and Flight Assist system make the EVO Max the easiest and most confidence-inspiring way to start eFoiling.

Does the EVO Max have any unique upgrades?

Yes. The EVO Max is compatible with the Scooter Kit, which includes handlebars and an inflatable pod for added buoyancy and stability, making learning easier and more controlled for beginners.


Additionally, the EVO Max has its own dedicated transport system, the Mover (L), designed for easy handling and transport of the full setup to and from the water. Awell as larger Board Bag (130L) for convenient transport.

How does the larger (130L) board make learning easier?

The EVO Max’s larger board provides more buoyancy and surface area, making it significantly more stable in the water. This extra stability helps beginners balance more easily, reduces the chance of tipping, and gives more time to react during takeoff and low-speed riding—making the learning process smoother and more forgiving.

Is the EVO Max enjoyable for more experienced riders?

Yes. While the EVO Max is designed as the most beginner-friendly model, it can still deliver a highly enjoyable experience for advanced riders. It reaches speeds of up to 45 km/h (28 mph), offering plenty of performance for carving and cruising.

Heavier riders are also generally recommended the EVO Max regardless of skill level, thanks to its larger board and increased buoyancy.

More experienced riders can further enhance the challenge by turning off the Flight Assist system and using higher gear settings, unlocking a more manual, responsive ride with higher speeds and greater control.
